The log-burner was an exciting addition, felt very at home, missing the Lake District already!
Absolutely brilliant bright light location with great view and sunsets. Right in the heart of Ambleside. We really liked this place, nice and clean and homely, has a nice log burner and the bed is super comfy. My favourite pub which is near the flat was the unicorn, friendly place with bands playing over weekends.
This is a great little cottage for a couple looking to enjoy the Lake District. Shops and pubs were in easy walking distance. We did several hikes right from the house and another with just a short bus ride. A lovely cute cottage right in the centre of Ambleside, perfect for a night in or an easy stroll to the local eateries! We very much enjoyed our stay, perfect for a couple, easy access to walking and very quiet location.
